Not I Am Finished

Luke 23:46; Hebrews 12:2

The cross was completion, not collapse.

There are seasons when exhaustion makes surrender feel spiritual. You have prayed, waited and tried again, yet nothing appears to move. The sight of Jesus on the cross reminds us that appearances can lie. To the crowd, He looked powerless. In heaven’s purpose, He was accomplishing salvation.

Jesus entrusted His spirit to the Father. He was not crushed into hopelessness. He completed His assignment in obedience. Your weakest moment is not proof that God has abandoned your story. Sometimes faith sounds less like a shout and more like, ‘Father, into Your hands.’

You may be tired, but you are not discarded. Place what you cannot control into the hands that held you before the battle began.

Where have you mistaken weariness for the end of your story?

Father, receive what I cannot carry. Restore my strength and help me trust You beyond what I can see. Amen.
