Shame Is Finished
Hebrews 12:2; Isaiah 61:7
What happened is not your name.
Guilt says, ‘I did wrong.’ Shame says, ‘I am wrong.’ Jesus endured the public exposure of the cross and despised its shame. He entered the place where people are mocked, stripped and rejected, then rose in honour.
You may have been harmed. You may also regret choices you made. Neither gives shame permission to rename you. In Christ you are known fully and loved deliberately. Healing may require truth, wise support and time, but shame no longer owns the house.
Lift your face. Mercy is not embarrassed to be seen with you.
What shame-name must you stop answering to?
Prayer
Jesus, meet me in the place I hide. Cover me with Your honour and teach me to see myself through Your mercy. Amen.
Tetelestai Declaration
Shame is not my name. I am known, loved and being restored by Jesus.
