The Fear of Death Is Finished

Hebrews 2:14–15; 1 Corinthians 15:54–57

Death remains an enemy, but not the victor.

Death frightens because it appears final. Jesus entered death and came out holding the promise of resurrection. The grave could not keep Him, and it will not keep those who belong to Him forever.

Christian hope does not forbid grief. Jesus wept. We may mourn deeply and still confess that death is defeated. Tears and faith can occupy the same room.

Because eternity is secure, fear need not steal the life God has given you today.

Pause & Reflect

What would faithful living look like if fear of death stopped directing you?

Prayer

Risen Jesus, comfort every grieving place in me. Free me from the slavery of fear and teach me to live with eternal hope. Amen.

Tetelestai Declaration

Death is not my final destination. Because Jesus lives, I will live also.
