Lost Hope Is Finished
John 11:25; 1 Peter 1:3
A sealed place is not beyond resurrection.
Martha knew the language of future resurrection, yet she stood beside a present grave. Jesus met her theology with His person: ‘I am the resurrection and the life.’ Hope is not optimism that everything will happen exactly as we planned. Hope is confidence that Christ remains faithful even beside the tomb.
Some doors may remain closed. Some losses cannot be reversed in this life. Still, God can raise purpose, faith and beauty where despair expected only decay.
Bring Him the place you stopped expecting goodness.
Where did disappointment persuade you to bury hope?
Prayer
God of living hope, meet me beside what I have mourned. Breathe again upon my faith and lead me into the future You hold. Amen.
Tetelestai Declaration
Disappointment is not the end. The risen Christ is my living hope.
