Failure Is Not Your Final Name

Luke 22:31–32; John 21:15–19

Peter fell publicly and was restored personally.

Peter promised courage and delivered denial. After the resurrection, Jesus did not reduce him to his failure. He restored him with truth, love and responsibility: ‘Feed My sheep.’

Failure may expose pride, immaturity or weakness. Let it teach you, but do not let it enthrone itself. Repentance is not crawling forever. It is turning, receiving grace and walking differently.

The place where you failed can become the place where you learn tenderness for others.

Pause and Reflect

What lesson must you keep while releasing the label of failure?

Prayer

Jesus, restore the places where I denied You through fear or compromise. Make me wiser, humbler and useful again. Amen.

Tetelestai Declaration

I failed, but failure is not my name. Jesus restores and recommissions me.
